Open Position: Logistics Supervisor

Mid-Florida Pathology is seeking a Logistics/Courier Supervisor to join our phenomenal team. As the supervisor, you will be responsible for scheduling courier staff to ensure timely and efficient service to our clients throughout the state.

PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES

Duties may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

Provides immediate supervision to a unit or group of employees, assigns tasks, checks work at frequent intervals, and maintains schedules.
Presents and maintains a good driving record
Provide direction and proper motivation to employees to ensure that the daily work is completed efficiently and effectively.
Trains couriers on new routes and is responsible for their efficiency and effectiveness.
Participates in interviewing courier staff, counseling, disciplining, or terminating as requested.
Provides technical guidance.
Receives predetermined work assignments subject to a moderate level of control and review.
Ensure all drivers' work schedules are posted correctly and in a timely manner and that all drivers follow their schedules appropriately. Suggest any changes to the schedules as needed.
Work with a maintenance supervisor to collect, analyze, and report safety and cost-per-vehicle statistics.
Back up couriers on-call in the event of an emergency.
Analyze routes and recommend changes if needed.
Maintain open communication channels with Management, Sale,s and other departments.
Delivers specimen collection supplies and test result reports to clients.
Follows established Company guidelines for a preventative vehicle maintenance schedule and coordinates repairs of Company vehicles with the Maintenance Supervisor.
Adheres to established safety and company policies and federal and state-regulated compliance issues.
Maintain consistent and reliable attendance and comply with company guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION:

HS degree or equivalent
Associate or degree preferred
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

2-5 years of Courier experience
2 years experience in the Logistics field with leadership responsibilities
Valid State driver's license with a clean driving record.
Must be flexible and available based on staffing requirements: weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
Great problem-solving and interpersonal skills, which include teamwork, adaptability, and dependability
Leadership, which includes supervision, motivation, decisiveness, and work commitment

Mid-Florida Pathology is currently seeking experienced licensed Histology Technologist to join our company. Various positions are available for both day and night shift.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Accurately embed tissue in a timely manner.
Produce high-quality tissue sections in an expedient and consistent manner.
Prepare solutions and reagents for special stain procedures.
Obtain and validate tissue used in special stains.
Perform all special stain procedures.
May prepare solutions and reagents for IHC procedures.
Perform routine, special, and IHC staining.
Maintain accurate patient identification throughout all workflows.
Perform daily QC of slides for overall quality of preparation, including but not limited to staining intensity and artifacts.
Maintain daily QC logs and other required documentation.
Maintain equipment and instruments in good operating conditions; acknowledge malfunctions, troubleshoot & notify supervisor.
Requirements for the candidate:

Frozen or Mohs experience preferred
IHC experience preferred.

Open Position: Credentialing Manager for Billing Department 

We are currently seeking a Credentialing Manager, who will be responsible for the activities of all credentialing and re-credentialing contracts with existing and new insurance payers, participation of all our providers with health plans, privileges with the hospitals and patient care facilities, maintenance up to date data for the practice and each individual provider and ensure timely renewal of licenses and certifications.

PRIMARY DUTIES

1. Conducts a formal review of Contracts and Credentialing documents for Credentialing practice and providers with new payers.
2. Re-credential existing contracts and properly maintain them;
3. Coordinates the approval and issuance of all provider contracts to appropriate parties, such as credentialing, reimbursement, and provider database.
4. Creates boilerplate provider contracts and selects and inserts optional paragraphs/riders as directed. Maintains automated status logs and prepares monthly and periodic reports.
5. Coordinates with provider database to ensure that provider reimbursements are loaded in accordance with contractual agreements and that provider data is current.
6. Respond to providers regarding the status of documents and other contracting-related issues.
7. May create and maintain provider files and related documentation and process provider data changes and provider terminations.
8. Set up and maintain provider information in online credentialing databases and systems.
9. Tracks license and professional certification expiration for all providers to ensure timely renewal.
10. Ensures practice addresses are current with health plans, agencies, and other entities.
11. Works closely with billing staff to identify and resolve any denials or authorization issues related to provider credentialing.

12. Independently identify the root cause issues and analyze and resolve moderately complex credentialing and A/R reconciliations. Review high-priority billing issues to prevent RCM and A/R errors. Research and obtain required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Associate degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of five years of relevant credentialing experience in laboratory or anatomic pathology services area.
A certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) is preferred.
Strong computer skills with a willingness to learn new systems. Advanced competence in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
Demonstrated accuracy, dependability, and orientation to detail
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to research and analyze data.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, management, staff, and contacts outside the organization.
