Dr. Alexander Onushko, DSc, PhD

Dr. Alexander Onushko is a healthcare executive and entrepreneur with extensive experience in healthcare leadership, organizational development, strategic growth, and medical practice operations. Dr. Onushko earned both his Ph.D. and JD degrees from MUBIP International University. Following the completion of his residency, internship, and research, he received his Doctor of Sciences (D.Sc.) degree in 2010.
Since 2010, Dr. Onushko has focused his professional career on healthcare leadership and development. His entrepreneurial work has included developing and establishing multispecialty medical practices and healthcare centers throughout the State of Florida.
In 2012, Dr. Onushko became President of Mid-Florida Pathology, where he has focused on corporate strategy, organizational development, operational excellence, and long-term growth. Under his leadership, Mid-Florida Pathology has expanded its services and relationships with medical practices, hospitals, surgery centers, and independent healthcare providers throughout Florida.
Mid-Florida Pathology also collaborates with experts from nationally recognized institutions, including Johns Hopkins Hospital, Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Moffitt Cancer Center, and MD Anderson Cancer Center, supporting the laboratory's commitment to diagnostic excellence and high-quality patient care.
As President, Dr. Onushko continues to guide Mid-Florida Pathology's strategic direction, emphasizing clinical excellence, innovation, operational performance, physician relationships, and sustainable growth.
