Through our laboratory information system (LIS) partners, secure, HIPAA-compliant applications provide an efficient environment for electronic test ordering, results reporting, and access to laboratory information.
Electronic Ordering & Results
Our electronic laboratory system allows authorized users to conveniently:
- Submit laboratory test orders electronically
- Access laboratory results as soon as testing is completed and results are available
- Retrieve previous patient laboratory results
- Review specimen requirements before specimen collection
- Access additional features designed to support efficient management of patient laboratory information

EMR Interface Solutions
Mid-Florida Pathology’s Information Technology (IT) Department can provide electronic interfaces with client Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems for preferred clients.
Depending on the needs and capabilities of the client’s system, interface solutions may include:
- Unidirectional interfaces for electronic transmission of laboratory results
- Bidirectional interfaces for electronic transmission of both laboratory orders and results
Our IT team works with clients to identify an appropriate interface solution designed to improve workflow efficiency, reduce manual processes, and facilitate the timely exchange of laboratory information.
